Bassin Bœuf

Today, some English, Spanish, Ukrainian and German people and I went to Bassin Bœuf which featured a waterfall, high cliffs, hikes and a very nice pool to swim in underneath the waterfall. It was a very fun day and It was nice to experience some reasonably cool weather in the mountains. The waterfall was fairly underwhelming, but at least it was an improvement on Niagara Falls which was little more than a trickle. I have absolutely no idea why this place was named after beef as there were no cows to be seen anywhere near it but I'm sure there's a perfectly valid reason.
