T is for ....

.... well, TEA of course.

I did briefly think about tomatoes, toastie (had one for lunch), terrible weather, torrential rain ~(both would be easy today), and a few other "T"s, but with my self-confessed addiction - it had to be tea, especially as we got this great Whittard's selection of so many different teas!

The box, teas, and mug of tea were straightforward, the "steam" was added by photographing the smoke from an incense stick against a black velvet background, and adding it as a seperate layer, using the "lighten" blending mode, then I duplicated the smoke layer, added some gaussian blur, and used the screen blending mode in order to give the steam a softness and give the final effect here.
