Great Haywood

How strange to be here in Great Haywood and not having anything to do with the boat! Life on the canal was going on as usual, folk walking dogs, folk visiting the farm shop and folk turning to go under this bridge, the junction of the Trent & Mersey canal with the Staffs & Worcs canal.

Which way will we go in a couple of weeks time? Northwards, the opposite direction to where I'm looking here.
