Get the rubbish shots out your system in January
And this is pants. But I'm not so fussed today. Pippa has dug underself under her blanket and is happy, despite her season causing a little hormonal fluctuations and tension between her and Lottie. And Lottie is in their bed too, absolutely zonked out. Snoring. It's rather cute!
So, having picked up that grotty illness on the Doha flight and then traipsed it across London and up the train line to Newark, I think I may have finally given it the kick out of my system. Mum and Dad have been utterly amazing - they have done everything I could have thought of and a zillion things more to help me to get better and to get the house in order. They left this afternoon and, after a brief moment of feeling sorry for myself, I have remained 'slow and steady' in the hopes that I will be properly better tomorrow and can go to work on Thursday. Fingers crossed - I don't like being ill or being at home!
It was really good to talk this afternoon...though it looks blinking cold out there. But I'm sure you will be monitoring the temperature with your Christmas present so it won't be that cold! ;0)
Mum, Dad and the girls send their love. The girls have come back from Philip's looking all sleek and fit and smelling gorgeous. Bless their little paws.xx
