The Museum of the Moon is a touring artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram. It has been in Derby Cathedral since16th September and tomorrow is its last day before it moves onto Lancaster. I thought that I had better call in before it goes. I overheard a family in the catherdral talking about it, the boy asked what is it made of, the Dad promptly chipped in with cheese I think !
It's been very popular with over 40,000 visitors in Derby, which is a good thing for the cathedral I think. It has also been supported by performing choirs etc and this weekend a folk festival.
