Wood Ducks are Back

This afternoon I went to a talk at the library today; it was very interesting. The speaker was Amber Case; she talked about the symbiotic interactions between humans and machines. She is a cyborg anthropologist who has a Ted Talk titled "We are all Cyborgs Now." I will listen to it tonight.

After the talk, I walked around the lakes of Dawson Creek behind the library. The wood ducks were back......I heard a belted king fisher had been seen in the same area......but I couldn't find him today.

The day was perfectly beautiful.......................bright blue skies and about 70 F (21C) .  My perfect weather choice.
