Playing Hookey?

After subjecting myself to daytime telly and The Wright Stuff debate about the Carrot & the Stick approaches to truancy, I thought 'Why Don't You just switch off your telly and go and do something less boring instead'.

So I went for a swim, adjacent is a skate park normally rammed with kids out of school. I couldn't help but smile and think 'right on little brother' at this lone dude having a right good skate, obviously wagging school. Forget the carrot or the stick - how about including skating on the national curriculum instead?
