We arrived at about 11 after an extremely wet journey and after spending ages trying to park due to the high number of cars dropping off students, Matt went off to register and get his keys. Luckily we'd parked right next to his accommodation block so we didn't get too wet carrying his things up to his room. After unpacking we took him shopping to get him started and then headed into York for a meal before heading home. The traffic was a nightmare and not knowing where we were going certainly didn't help. When we finally arrived we were 40 minutes late but the staff in Bella Italia were lovely and we had a delicious 3 course meal. I was very brave when I kissed Matt goodbye and managed not to cry. It was sad but exciting seeing him start his new life. Good luck Matt. We love you so much and are extremely proud of the young man you've become.
