A damp dahlia

.... everything has been very wet today. 

Very heavy rain during the night and this morning. The worst of the rain has stopped now but there is still that horrible cold damp feeling outside and many of the huge puddles on the road are still there.

A nearby garden has quite a crop of dahlias just beside the gate so I stopped there on my way home from church ..... lowered the car window and took a quick photo before the camera lens got covered in raindrops.
