Checking out the dance floor!

I didn't have time to look for and photograph flowers today as preparations were in full swing to get the marquee ready for tomorrow's party.  This mainly  involved blowing up a very great number of balloons ( we had 2 electric balloon pumps thank goodness) and of course the all important task of checking out the dance floor.  Fortunately my alternative flower Violet, was on hand after school to take on this task, seen here assisted by Daughter #1's partner.

I've waited until Sunday to blip this as Daughter #2 , who's 30th birthday party it will be, wanted the set up in the marquee to be a surprise for her  on Saturday night and this pic would have given it away
