I was in the right place at the right time this morning.  I was only thinking the other day that I hadn't seen an otter in the estuary this year.  I was very surprised when I saw one this morning eating a fish being watched by two herons who were pacing backwards and forwards waiting for him to drop it.  One of the herons got lucky!  I then followed the otter along the shoreline for a while before he swam off into the distance.  It made my day.  Not the best quality photo as had to use digital zoom.
