Arnside Viaduct

Having stayed overnight with friends R and Mr P, after breakfast we went down to Arnside for a walk. When we arrived the sun was out and fortunately I took some pictures of the Arnside viaduct. This crosses the river Kent where it runs into Morcambe Bay, taking trains from Cumbria and then into Lancashire. It is very picturesque. After I got my shot the weather got quite cold and very windy, but after a while the sun came out again. We had a very tasty lunch in a pub before returning home to starving cats. We did leave them a good supply of food but from the noise when we got home you would think the hadn’t been fed for a week. And they turned up again at their normal feeding time asking for more food. Cats eh.
