Flower Shop

The day didn't go quite to plan today. G had a short day but it's also the day the cleaner comes, so we stayed out longer to have a coffee and doughnut. Back home and things are still not looking good on the car front. Another part needs to be replaced - the engine compartment fusebox. I have to admit I've never heard of that before. Fortunately, the secondhand parts man has one and will send it over tomorrow.

G cancelled her remote lesson and we went over to Festival City to look for little notebooks and an IKEA light bulb! Whilst there, one of G's Fitflops came apart. Amazingly, it happened right next to a Minutes (shoe repair, key cutting etc. store) and the section of the mall where most of the shoe shops are. She got herself a pair of slippers from Daiso though, so had something to walk around in. And as for Minutes, their shoe service needs to be sent away and takes three days. Maybe they should change the name of their outlet.

Nothing much else to say about the day, except we've both had better ones!! This flower shop that sits on the landing between two levels in the mall always cheers me up and it had some pink flowers. October blip sorted!
