The Snow Child

The weather today was perfect. No snow but freezing cold, blue sky, sunshine and covered in frost that wouldn't shift. We've even had a little snow this evening.

I finished my book, the Snow Child today after not being able to put it down for the last couple of days. It was a great book, and ethereal book in fact.

We had a lecture this afternoon on using the interactive white boards (new to our school! I know!) in English teaching. It was really interesting and I'm feeling very inspired. Unfortunately it's the end of the first half year on Thursday which means I should be marking and writing reports....

As I looked out the window this morning during a lesson, there was a great spotted woodpecker on the tree just 2 metres away.
