North Rim Grand Canyon

Laura, husband, Tony, Bunker and I loaded up the picnic and headed out to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. As we got higher in elevation, the aspen trees were bright yellow, so pretty against the green of the fir trees.

A small herd of buffalo made an appearance (do take a look at Laura's extra and main picture).

The lodge in my blip was built in 1928 and quite different from the south rim lodge. 

It was a fun day together and I am grateful that this was a first for all of us!
