The Stroke City

In (London)Derry today, and walked the city walls, with a very individual guide. A robust and remarkable town, steeped in some of the Isles’ bloodiest history, this was a fascinating wander, made all the more memorable thanks to a chance encounter with David Latimer, a Derry priest of some repute.

You’ll know of NI’s ‘Troubles for many decades, which have largely passed. But recent rioting in Derry brought it all back for many, and this chap is trying to make a difference again. Quite a character, and glad he was up for chatting to us.
