Ella, Photo bomber

Another super day......woke to an awesome day, clear skies.....we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast, then a family discussion as to what we should do to fill in the day. Plenty of things to do around Tekapo, but since the day was a stunner we decided to head further inland to Mt Cook.

Mt Cook was looking splendid when we stopped at this place, which was filled with camper vans of every shape, colour and size.....and many nationalities represented also. The roads were busy.

Arrived into the National Park and walked up to the swing bridges, long enough for Lexi’s little legs. She had to be carried at times, she told her father “my legs just won’t walk any more”.

We had a late lunch in the cafe/restaurant at The Hermitage then headed back to Tekapo spending the next couple of hours in the hot pools. Brilliant way to relax.

Because of the late lunch we had a light dinner of antipasto platters, and some nice “drinkies” .

We’ve all just watched (again) the DVD Moana, now heading off to bed.
