The Flip Side

Dear Diary,

It was 25F yesterday morning and it is 55F this morning.  Fall is flipping back and forth.  I'm so glad it did as it rained last night and had the temperatures  remained as they were I would have woken up to snow!  I caught sight of these leaves showing off their light underside; their "flip side".  I've been fixating a bit on leaves just now it seems.  I've just completed a book of my two trips to the Outer Hebrides of Scotland; the first in 2005 and the second in 2011.  What fun to wade back through photographs that were 15 years old!  I will send it off to be printed today.  Check that off my "to do" list!
