Rainy Day Sunday

Woke up this morning with a soar throat and a temperature. Wet day, all day.

However, I ventured out for some fresh air and exercise. Looking down for a Blipfoto opportunity I came across this very sodden fungi supported on a slender stalk.

I have little knowledge of fungi and the view of this particular example from above strikes me as very unusual.

After my walk back inside for a hot whisky toddy and catch up with last night’s Strictly.
