Steam it Sunday

Steam engines on a Sunday always make me smile. I love the smell and the sounds. Takes me back to my childhood and the Horsham Steam Fair with my grandad Popsy.

I’ve got a DVD of old family cine films featuring me in a pushchair eating an ice cream with steam engines and fairground rides behind me.

I must watch it again and be reminded of Popsy who passed away when I was just seven. Maybe he’s the reason I love steam so much...
