Transformation

After a full & busy day which included a lengthy surgery in Inveraray , I dropped into the new Scottish Canals building at Ardrishaig , called the “Egg Shed” because part of it was once an egg packing station , as I had not yet seen it for myself.

It is a lovely designed space full of interesting things and it is a great addition to the cluster of buildings that surround the entrance to the Crinan Canal.

The Canal is a huge asset to my constituency and I am keen not only to see many more people using it but also many more people visiting it and helping to transform the area around it.

Scottish Canals are working hard to do so and my picture shows not only the edge of the new structure but also the newly converted “Steamer” cafe and some of the other features of the area.
