City sunrise

Just as I was approaching the office at about 07.45 the sky developed some beautiful pink colours. I tried to capture the colours and have a lot of blurred photos to show for my efforts as I was also carrying a cup of coffee and was trying to work the phone one-handed. Note to self - two hands are required to take a picture with a iPhone.

The tree whose branches are in silhouette on the left has beautiful white flowers in the summer. It suffered when the Occupy camp was here - I think a few branches were used for fires and propping up makeshift tents. Luckily it has survived and the council has given it some TLC , so hopefully the flowers will be nice later in the year.
