Attention golfers!

Yup, this is me, with the latest in golf technology: a ball canon -- to be used instead of the silly driver we all love to hate. This baby makes a regular golf ball fly the distance to the green from the tee on a par 4, with minimal recoil and a sore shoulder for only a couple of days. Of course, if you're unlucky, the canon makes the ball waffle and it ends up god knows where (which isn't all that different from using a driver, is it?) ;)


Seriously, this toy was a lot of fun at a charity golf tournament I photographed today. I might just make it one of the tools I reach for in my golf bag :)


ps: I'm still firmly anti-gun in my political stance :)
