Hippophae rhamnoides, likes to grow at the seaside. A pioneer plant sharply thorned to stop anybody attempting to pick the fruits. According to Countryfile last Sunday the juice is rich in all sorts of vitamins including Vit C. Useful to assist in combating altitude sickness. Try the fruits they dry out your mouth..so sour!
