Tiny Tuesday: Shield Bug

I was just pondering what to blip for today's Tiny Tuesday when my Editor came across this rather pretty little shield bug on an outside window ledge, while she was doing some cleaning up after the mess caused by the roof replacement. Of course I couldn't resist taking a macro photo of it. Blip done.

Thanks to Barking for hosting TT this month. And I guess it will qualify for Hobbs's October Colour Blitz challenge too.

PS Just realised that there was a TT theme this week - "native". I believe most shield bugs are native to the UK so I think this fits - by chance!
