Another surprise!

Another damp, grey day ....... not at all the sort of day I expected to see a butterfly in the garden ..... but lo & behold there was this Red Admiral ..... it was resting right at the top of the larger buddleia bush ..... probably hoping for some sunshine!

I find it amazing that delicate creatures like this butterfly & the Humming-bird Hawk-moth yesterday can survive out in such cool, damp conditions. I would expect to find the sheltering somewhere!
