Witchcraft

The theme I'd set myself last weekend was to find colour, where necessary. This week it's been 'new shoots'.

On my way to work yesterday I spotted a magnificent Witch Hazel tree (Hamamelis) tree in full bloom, and decided to cycle along the same route today to photograph it.

Unfortunately I can't convey the sweet scent of Witch Hazel, but believe me, it was gorgeous.

That aside, it's been a good day, a very good day indeed.
