Double ‘bow

Walking across the Meadows this morning was dramatic - rain, strong winds and bright sunshine all mixed together - and what a fabulous double rainbow as a result!
Started the day with coffee and conversations with two different sets of people then into a showcase event where we heard ‘pitches’ of research plans from 24 people who’d been on a training programme together. Very different sort of morning but lovely to be swimming in positive people and stories and a baffling array of different topics of research (history of imaginary currencies, curing TB, faith links with health in Africa and the mathematics of infinite spaces for eg).
Lunch and a chat with CH before he came to our main regular planning meeting. Useful discussion of various things and the afternoon went well, then home and tried to do some catching up and work around Bake Off....
