First Shot Of The Day

A wee bit of drama in the sky.......which developed - although you wouldn't believe it from this.
But the front caught up with us and we did get wet. (There are other rainbow shots)

SWMBO and I had to go and sit at Bags' house and wait for the engineer coming to have a look at the tumble drier that caught fire last week.
His first comment after being told that it had had the official modification (to prevent it catching fire) was that it hadn't been done properly .... and that was before opening it up.
Inside it was painfully apparent that it wasn't doing its job at stopping the lint getting into the carcass of the machine - including the heating element. What was less obvious (to me anyway) was whether it was the heating element that had caused the problem on the bearing which had given up allowing the drum to turn metal on metal.
The engineer took pictures, did all his tests and fired off his report and was expecting the head office to call back later in the day with their findings and next steps. They didn't phone!
I see trouble ahead when Bags gets through to them.
