Sandblasting

A bright but windy day today. After a day of sorting out things I've been putting off for ages I decided a quick walk on the beach was in order. The sand was being blown in streams across the wetter sand on the other side of the river. I'm not sure it can really be seen on this picture but it looked really wild. The birds were struggling to fly and I could feel the power of the wind on my face - all very exhilarating.
