The Tart Shop
The secret is out, apparently the way to make a good Bakewell Tart is to use a heavy roller on the pastry ! We didn't go in this imitation shop but instead got our Bakewell Pudding from the original shop and as you know a real pudding is very different from the common tart.
The extra is from in another very nice shop in Bakewell. Tuesday is definitely the day to visit this popular town in the Peak District, no cattle market on and quiet car park and streets, just the way I like it.
