Still ill

Day 4 and our baby is still very poorly.

I phoned NHS24 after dinner as I was concerned. The nurse I spoke with felt Logan's symptoms were bad enough to warrant a trip to hospital.

The doctor at the hospital was great. Logan has a 'severe' case of chickenpox which is very unusual for his age. Apparently his symptoms are similar to what would be experienced by a teenager and not a baby of 21 months.

If he doesn't manage to drink enough fluids by lunchtime tomorrow he'll need to be checked over again.

Poor wee thing has pox all inside his mouth and isn't keen to drink despite have a temp of 39 degrees. Fingers crossed for a better tonight and tomorrow for our special wee guy.
