A rose from a friend

I met two lovely long time friends this morning for coffee and a catch up, one of my friends very kindly brought each of us a beautiful rose from her garden, a very thoughtful gesture, a lovely morning was spent catching up.

On a much sadder note, Bessie who spent the weekend with us, Milo and Effie, she went home yesterday with her family who had spent the weekend camping, this morning they had to take her to the vet as she was unwell again during the night, the cancer she had on her spleen has now spread to her lungs and the vets opinion was 'now it was time for them all to say their goodbyes, a very sad decision for them to make they just weren't prepared for it, i don't think we can ever be prepared for that can we? they stayed with her until she fell asleep.
The higher and lows of today, this rose is for Bessie, we had 4 lovely days we shall always remember her.
