Beautiful baby

This morning I found my family of swans in the nature reserve.  Minus dad, but with both surviving cygnets.  I've been following this little group since 1st June and the babies, now fully grown but still in their infant colours and looking shy and cute are sticking close to mum.  Here is one of them making herself beautiful by pulling her neck right back and cleaning the feathers under her wing.

Apart from that, the day has consisted of a little food shopping and seeing OG, who is still depressed about his health.  Tomorrow he's back to hospital for an out-patients appointment with the consultant.  Hopefully then he will able to relax a bit.

Now i'm doing this while drinking tea and listening to the PM on Radio 4.  Don't even mention politics!
