Light On The Landscape

I had a lovely time catching up with my Wednesday friends today! We went for a walk through the countryside and were very pleased and relieved that the rain held off - in fact there was some beautiful light on the landscape, especially when we first set out.

After the walk, we headed into town for a bite to eat. I had a slice of the day's special quiche accompanied by lots of salad and slaw - yummy!

And now, a quiet evening at home, when I hope to catch up on a few necessaries before an early(-ish) night.
