Tree Silhouette

Hi everyone!

Another tree silhouette today. It was light enough to go on a quick walk after school today. So glad the nights are getting lighter!

So, I got loaded with homework today!!! I got given a whole booklet of past papers to do for physics by next Thursday. It's about topics that we have already done, even though we're still halfway through another one. Let me tell you, I don't want to sound mean, but my new physics teacher is a condescending snob.

I walked into class with a friend yesterday, as I usually do, and we said good morning to him. His reply? "Who said you could come in" I said sorry, but he just replied "Get out". Whenever someone says hello or good morning, he just says "Hang your coat up" or "Go and sit down". He is very rude, and I think he seems to talk down to us. The first half of the lesson yesterday consisted of "Sit up straight" "Take your hands away from your face, it looks sloppy" "Put your shoulders back".

I am 15, I do not need to be told how to sit by a teacher. I go to physics to learn about physics, not etiquette. I am sorry if I'm sounding mean, but the way he spoke to us was, as I said earlier, extremely condescending, and one thing I can't stand is people who act like they're better than other people. I get that he's a teacher and he has superiority over us, but that doesn't mean he's better than anyone else.

Right, I've gotten that off my chest, so......

Tomorrow will be Craigs twelfth birthday. I have no idea what's happening, apart from that we have cake and some presents. A friend may be coming over as well, so hopefully it will be a good day.

He is also going skiing tomorrow! He goes to a place called Hillend, which is the biggest dry ski slope in Europe! He goes with his class in school, and I really hope he enjoys it! I tried skiing in first year (Back in the beginning of 2010), and I didn't really like it.

If you look at the picture in the link: I was going down the left-most slope, and I had gotten to where the man in black is (about halfway down, in the middle), when I tried to slow down, and instead ended up turning sharply to the left. I narrowly avoided hitting two skiers on the chair lift, and ended up on a heap on the grass. It was really sore and embarrassing, and I have never been skiing since (It was only my 3rd lesson!). I don't think I would consider going again, I'm too scared of getting hurt!

Right, I've babbled on a bit, so I'll leave it there. Have a good Wednesday!

Steven :)
