Picos de Europa day 5

We were launched down a steep slide, no time to gets your wits about you, just clambered in, held the paddle above head and whoosh, I got instantly drenched! 15 miles of hilarious laughter echoed around as we got stuck in the shallows and it was my job to leap out and push the heavy canoe with a heavy man in the front! Shoals of salmon were swimming upstream in the clear water, and this time of year there. Were few othercanoes out. It was a fantastic day!
