Is doing just fine, a few cuddles from Ruby and a slice of apple, all is right with his little world..
Nadine dropped the children this lunchtime while she went into school for a 'return to school' meeting, the holidays are almost over for them, the next term starts Monday.
Ruby has handled the passing of bessie very well, she talks about her quite easily, she was very happy with her locket and the picture of Bessie we managed after much fiddling to get into the locket.
Deklan too has handled things fairly well, he can't talk about any of it yet, he will when is is ready, he's the thinker, but he was very happy with his framed picture of Bessie and he tucked it under his arm when he left for home this afternoon, today was a good distraction for them, making banana bread helped its always good to do a bit of baking, Ruby is getting quite the expert,.
They both went home two happy Grandies.
