Bridge 144

As far as I can figure out I have now blipped all of the bridges on the Shropshire Union Canal between Calveley (104) and the end at Ellesmere Port (147a). I might study the map to see if I can find any places where there might once have been bridges.

This is bridge 144, Bewley's Bridge. It looks like it is in the country but not too far behind me is the M53 which crosses on 144a.

It was built in 1795 and is a Grade II listed building and takes Lees Lane over the canal
