Day 11

We are being very well looked after by our hosts in Confolens with different members of the twinning committee hosting different meals and showing us different sights.

This morning we visited St Germain de Confolens and 12th C church and ruined chateau. Very interesting and we got to visit the cellars.

This afternoon we took the velorail between Confolens & Manot and back again. Essentially this is a buggy powered along the tracks by 2 cyclists. It was uphill on way out (although T did most of work) and downhill with lots of freewheeling on way back. Highly recommended.
