My Little Slice of the World

Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA

At just over a mile above sea level, Albuquerque is considered "High Desert" - so we have dry heat in the Summer, but it is still fairly cold in the Winter. The sun shines here 360 days a year and the temperatures are usually reasonably moderate.

The photo is a pano of the Sandia Mountains with our city nestled at the foot. I was a bit early tonight to get the sunset shot I had hoped for, but I was pressed for time, so for today, this will have to suffice. Don't worry, there are LOTS of opportunites left for me to get a great sunset on the mountains shot.
