What a mess!!

The living room is an utter disaster.  Using a cofee table to eat breakfast and dinner at is getting a little dull.  

However... we have a floor!!  Maybe just the screed, but it is level at least.  Laxtex going down on Sunday (and I'm jumping ship to Stamford with the boys as it's going to be a nightmare with the whole room out of action and totally cleared.... 

The eldest is busy making friends at school.  I have to bargain with him now and give him 'five more minutes' to play with his friends.  They're always together, thick as thieves and it's so nice to see him a little more settled.  The youngest also has some lovely friends at nursery and he natters away about them.  He was running around nursery with his friend when I collected him this evening, and the giggles from the two of them were delightful.
