Birmingham
We took the train to Birmingham this morning as we had tickets for the Birmingham Repertory Theatre in the city centre to see Prism, the story of the hollywood cinematographer Jack Cardiff as he was starting to experience the effects of dementia. The lead was played by Robert Lindsay of My Family and Citizen Smith fame.
An excellent play, we had front row seats but I still had problems picking up all the speech, I have an audiology appointment on Monday, hopefully they'll be able to help.
Before the play we popped into the Museum and Art Gallery for a spot of lunch in the Edwardian Tea Rooms, they do a very nice vegetarian breakfast!
