I came into the room this morning just as fellow-blipper feorlean came on the radio and demonstrated once again why patience and swift clarity are essential attributes for any politician facing a wilfully negative BBC interviewer.

As i was already late, i didn't have time to wait and hear whether the next interviewee - a Tory elected as one of Ruth Dabidson's team in 2017 - got the same treatment. For some reason, i suspect not.
