I Don't Get It

Had another very long day. I flew to Reno, Nevada early this morning for a business meeting. After the meeting, my colleagues and I needed to kill some time. So we went to one of the local casinos for lunch. I have never enjoyed the casino atmosphere--lots of smoke and noise. I am always amazed by the hundreds of people who sit hour after hour in front of these machines hoping for a big win....I just don't get it. Finally returned home to Portland to a very happy dog and a late dinner.
