African Daisy

Little Miss and I are both feeling a little jaded after our first week back at school. I went to catch up with my friend, CD, who is recovering from a triple heart bypass. It was tough to see him so weak and ill. I stayed for a short while, chatting mainly to his partner, as he can't speak due to an irritated throat (tubes and anaesthetic have left it sore).

When I got home, I did my usual routine to cheer me up and help me to see the good around me; I wandered the garden with my camera and my dog and cat.

Little Miss chose this shot as her favourite. I also liked the extra, it kind of matched how I felt when I was driving home. Little Miss' choice is much cheerier though!

Yay for the weekend.
