Jimbaran Bali

After being in Sanur for two days we thought it was enough and decided to go to Jimbaran which is south of Kuta. After a busride of roughly 30 minutes we arrived in Jimbaran. It wasn't quite what we had expected. The place seemed a bit deserted and the amount of stray cats and dogs was ten times as much as in all the other places we had been. Jimbaran is famous for it's fish market. The restaurants and cafe's on the beach next to it get there fish straight of the market . The only downside is that the prices are ridiculously high because of the great amount of tourists that visit these places. We had a drink in one of the cafe's and watched a lady pass by along the beach. She was eating corn on the cob, two stray dogs had noticed her and started jumping up on her to catch the corn stick. She decided she was probably going to get rid of them by giving them some other food from her bag. The dogs only wanted her more now and didn't leave her side. It was a very funny thing to watch, the dogs hadn't left her side when we left the beach an hour later.
