The Chimney. Scaled by Fred Dibnah !

Where the river bends there is a good view of the chimney of the Victorian Pumping Station, built in 1894. It is 175 ft high, octagonal and on a square base. Now the Cambridge Museum Of Technology, an interesting place to visit. The original buildings and pumps  are still there, but now surrounded by modern riverside dwellings.
