Summer has returned!

Hot and sunny today, so I worked in the shade pulling out ivy, you can see the piles in the extra photo, with the chickens coming to investigate! They spent a lot of the time scratching around me as I was working, eating bugs and even getting snails out of their shells and gobbling them up. It was nice to have some company as Mr F was working at the other end of the garden.
The main photo was taken from the patio as I stopped for a cup of tea, sitting on my grandad's bench, at around 6pm.
