Presence of the Past

A trip to Merivale today meant I had a chance to capture this piece of public art, another that's been on the blip-list for a little white.

Created by the Lyttelton scupltor Mark Whyte, 'Presence of the Past' pays tribute to the pioneer families that settled Christchurch in the middle of the nineteenth century.
